Families Cup: A competition played with couples in any family relationship produced good scoring with the following leading scores.

An 84 by Mike and Sue Mayman won the Best Gross. In the same gender nett a 74 by Neil and Darren Brown (10 hcp) was the winner. Whilst in the Gross again a 74 by John Webster and Roger Parry took the prize.

A fourball better ball competition last Friday for the elderly gentlemen with the following results:

Ladies

Bedale v Wilton: Liz Stubbs with her 'A' team played Wilton Ladies at home and away. The first match played at Bedale resulted in a 6 to 2 win for the team and on the match at Wilton a victory by a margin of 6 to 1 was achieved. The Ladies A team comprised Liz Stubbs (Captain), Julie Standon, Jean Harvey, Jackie French, Marilyn Dawson, Stella Shepherd and Kath Tate.
