THE partnership which pioneered the restoration of Ripon's marina will thank the city with an evening of music at the nearby racecourse.
Ripon City Partnership and British Waterways have linked up with Classic FM for an open air concert, featuring pieces as diverse as Handel's Water Music and songs from Les Miserables.
A fireworks display and an appearance by the Ripon Hornblower will close the event on Saturday, June 28.
