The Harriers Ladies team of Bernadette Taylor, Susie Rutherford and sister Georgina took the first team prize once again. Alison Raw, Joann Short and Julie Peacock took the second ladies team prize. The men's team of Martin Grainger, Ben Wilson and Jack Mason won the men's second team prize.

AT the British Open held in London Ben Wilson finished 45th from 14,000 in a time of 36.13. the New Marske Victorian 10km Brian Hannah finished 40th in 42.40 and Steve Dauber 102nd in 51.26. Brian Hay made his way up to Edinburgh to run the Scottish Gas 10km in 43.20.

The Fifth NYSD Track meeting was held at Darlington.
