RESIDENTS who say they are stuck in a living hell on an estate in Guisborough, are calling on the authorities to do more to prevent yobs and louts causing the problems.
The police, Redcar and Cleveland Council, Coast and Country Housing Association and various other agencies are starting to work together to improve the Wilton Lane estate in Guisborough.
Residents say they want action to be taken to stop the abuse, vandalism, under-age drinking, drugs, prostitution, theft and intimidation which they face on the estate.
Many like their houses and have enjoyed living there, but now they are on waiting lists to leave, because they are intimidated by and tired of problems caused by a minority.
