HARTLEPOOL'S Historic Quay and Museum has been named a Quality Assured Visitor Attraction by the English Tourism Council - the third time the attraction has been given the national hallmark.
The quay's replica period buildings and HMS Trincomalee were praised by the council.
This weekend, the Quay will host a smugglers and cut- throats re-enactment event. For further information call (01429) 523044.
