DOGS owners made sure their pets were in tip-top condition yesterday at a free health check session in Darlington.
A roadshow is at the Pets At Home store, at Darlington Retail Park, in Yarm Road, until the end of the week.
The PDSA PetCheck unit has been travelling around Britain since March and offers checks for dogs and other pets.
Jan McLoughlin, the PDSA's director of veterinary services, said: "If you are concerned that your pet is overweight or you would like advice about grooming, nutrition or dental care, please visit our unit."
The unit, manned by veterinary staff, is open between 10am and 5pm today and tomorrow, and between 11am and 4pm on Sunday.
