PEOPLE are urged to complete a council questionnaire.
Hartlepool Borough Council has sent questionnaires to 2,500 addresses in Hartlepool, asking residents for their views about life in the area and how satisfied they are on issues such as transport, recycling and leisure facilities.
It will use the information to improve the local area and the services it provides.
Paul Walker, the council's chief executive, said: "The information will play an important part in helping us to direct our resources where they are most needed and to improve our services and the town as a whole."
