Not one team in the leading pack have kept a 100 per cent record after only three matches in the First Division.

Harrogate Squash II currently head the table with 29 points, followed by title pretenders Adel on 26.

They edge out Chapel Allerton in third spot, also on 26, but with an inferior rubbers' average.

Nomads occupy fourth place on 25 points with Harlow a point behind in fifth position.

Harrogate Squash II are top thanks to a 3-0 away win over Knaresborough.

In this clash Steve Whiteley defeated James Lambley 3-9 10-9 9-7 1-9 10-8; Bob Peacock hit back to topple John Evans 3-9 9-5 9-4 9-3 with Tim Russell sweeping aside the challenge of Gary Hatch 9-1 9-6 9-3.

The big surprise came when a new-look Moortown team toppled Adel.

Mark Pinkerton, a newcomer to the Moortown side this season, underscored his arrival by defeating Sean Fleming 9-4 9-7 9-2 at second string.

Robin Mannell was a 9-3 9-1 2-9 10-8 victor over Mark Ambler with Richard Hill Moortown's only loser.

But it was a close call against Jon Hodgson who took the clash in a tense finale - 7-9 9-4 6-9 10-8 10-9.
