The Northern Road relay championships at Silksworth on Sunday, October 5 consisted of four by 3k laps, with all the best teams being represented from the Northern area.
The Under-13 boy's team came 10th behind the eventual winners Warrington, but were first North East team. On first leg Mark Baldwin led off with an excellent 11.46 followed by James Askew 12.19, Nick Baldwin 15.03 and Chris Gaffney with the fastest leg 11.32.
The Under-17 boys had a terrific run to finish eighth behind the eventual winners, Trafford from Manchester. Adam Gibson led off with a splendid 9.43 with Lewis Moses our fastest runner in 9.17, followed by Stephen Turnbull 10.07 and anchored by Neil Robinson in 10.01
