A SIX-PART television documentary about the lives of North-East truck drivers will begin tonight.
Called Tales of the Road, the first programme will be screened at 11pm on Tyne Tees.
It will feature drivers from the long-established firm Devereux, at Billingham, Teesside.
A star of the show will be driver Gavin Dobson, 26, from Hartlepool. He will give his views about life on the road as the cameras follow him to Blackpool and Bolton.
The programme will also feature other drivers at the Woodside Cafe, on the southbound side of the A19 in North Yorkshire.
