TINY publishing company Clever Clogs has produced an updated version of its guide for parents and carers living in Chester-le-Street.
The guide, called Chester-le-Street for Under Eights,is released this week, part-funded by SureStart.
The booklet contains parenting information on subjects from toddler groups to trips out and sleep clinics to Scout packs.
Editor Heather Alabaster said: "We were very encouraged by the excellent feedback we had for the first Chester-le-Street guide.
"It has been great getting out and about in the district and meeting people and groups involved with youngsters.
"We believe it is vital to get their thoughts on what should be included.
"Of course, we encourage feedback so subsequent editions can be even more comprehensive," she said.
Chester-le-Street for Under Eights costs £2.75 and is available from SureStart offices, midwives and health visitors, libraries and some visitor attractions.
