Shildon joint manager Ray Gowan is hoping for another taste of FA Cup glory today against Garforth and says: "We want the same again."

Shildon enjoyed a fine run to the first round proper of the cup last season, and Gowan, who also managed Spennymoor and Brandon to the first round, said: "We want to enjoy another experience like it.

"Because we did do well last season, people are expecting us to put another run together this time round, so it's something to live up to."

Skipper Danny Key and recent signing Steve Huggins will both have fitness tests.

Shildon play the winners of the game between Willington and Woodley Sports. Willington manager Stan Cummins could include himself after playing at Washington on Monday.

Horden have an attractive home game against AFC Telford, who as Telford United reached the fourth round proper last season where they lost to eventual finalists Millwall. Defender Alan Martin is struggling with a hamstring injury, but midfielder Stuart Dixon should return. Telford were in the Conference but folded at the end of last season and have since rejoined the UniBond First Division.

Tow Law go to UniBond League Clitheroe hoping to end a run of three games without a win having conceded 15 goals. Derek Waters and Peter Maughan are both expected to return after injury.

Brandon are also in Lancashire, at Darwen, and will be without suspended pair Paul Hopps and Kevin Hamilton, while Dale Crawford, Dave Morgan and player-coach Graham Carter will have fitness tests.

Northern League leaders Billingham Synthonia head to Padiham looking for a good run, and should be at full strength.

Guisborough take on UniBond side Brigg Town.

Marske face Colwyn Bay from the UniBond League, and are without striker Gary Shardah, while another striker Chris Reeve will have a fitness test.

In the all Northern League games, Northallerton are without Micky Waller, Matthew Cooke, Anthony Roberts and Lee Trainor at home to Billingham Town, who are boosted by the return of striker Carl Chillingsworth. They include new midfielder Lee Fitzgerald but they will give fitness tests to Richie Ward and Lee Ure.

Seaham Red Star include Ian Bickerstaffe at home to Whickham, but Craig Veart is out.

Consett are without midfielder John King at home to Crook, but defender Steve Ireland and striker Gary Price both return. Crook are without suspended striker Andrew Shaw, while midfielder Darren Harrison is unavailable.

Thornaby give striker Dave Lawson his debut at home to Easington. He replaces suspended Jamie Clarke. Easington could be unchanged from the team which did well at Seaham on Monday.
