DEVELOPERS are applying for planning consent to build homes on pockets of land in the Wear Valley district.

Mr A Flockton, of Middle Musgrave Farm, St Helen Auckland, is asking for permission to knock down former farm buildings and homes and build 12 houses.

Mr K Hogarth, of South End Villas, Crook, wants to build five homes on land between number 30 and number 41 on the same street.

At the old Station House, in Witton Park, Mrs L Robson hopes to put up two detached three-storey houses.
