A HEALTH roadshow will tour Sedgefield borough to check the health of its older residents.
The 50 Plus Your Health roadshow will offer visitors a chance to check their own health and find ways of improving it.
Events will be held at Newton Aycliffe Youth Centre, on Thursday March 17, Mainsforth and District Community Association, Ferryhill Station, on Wednesday, April 6, and Trimdon Village Hall, Friday, April 22. All events run from 10am to 1pm.
Health and social carers, emergency services and local authorities will offer free health and diabetes checks and offer welfare tips from home security to energy advice.
There will be information about healthy eating, exercise, medicine management and free complementary therapies.
