A DANCE interpretation of the weather has been performed at a Durham theatre. The Elements, by The Pauline Cook School of Dancing, was held at The Empire Theatre in Consett at the weekend.
Dancers aged from three to 24 performed a range of styles including hip hop, jazz, classical ballet and funky tap.
Dance teacher Pauline Cook said: "We are delighted that Joyce Shaw led our performers in singing as well as joining in a special guest appearance. We are proud to be partnering with Childline and Association for the Protection of Animals in Algarve, donating a proportion of the ticket sales to these charities which provide a ray of hope for desperate children and animals."
