CHILDREN are being given a chance to be coached by a Premiership football club during the Easter holidays.

Middlesbrough Football Club is running a number of coaching sessions across Teesside and North Yorkshire from March 21.

The courses will be held as follows:

March 21 to March 23: Stokesley Leisure Centre; Hambleton Leisure Centre, Northallerton; and Kings Academy, Coulby Newham.

March 29 to March 31: Northfield School, Billingham; Lawrence Jackson School, Middlesbrough; and the Middlesbrough Football Community Centre, Eston.

The Middlesbrough Football Community Centre will also stage a micro-soccer course for three to five-year-olds from March 29 to March 30, costing £10; a course for goalkeepers from March 29 to March 31, costing £26; a mini-soccer course for five to seven-year-old from April 4 to April 5, costing £18, and a two-day course on April 7 and 8, costing £18.

Conyers School, in Yarm, hosts a goalkeeping course from April 4 to 5, costing £18, and a three-day course for £26 from April 6 to 8. Grangefield School, in Stockton, holds a three-day course from April 4 to 6, costing £26; while Ryehills School, in Redcar, holds the same course on the same dates, and a micro-soccer course from April 4 to 5, for £10.
