NEWBORN lambs will be making their first public appearance during an open day at a Durham City college this weekend.
Houghall College is holding a lambing and open day on Sunday at its campus farm, when visitors will be able to see the new arrivals.
The college is home to a working farm to allow agricultural students the chance for some real hands-on experience.
Students will be at the open day to help the lambing process, while children can have a go at feeding the lambs and prospective students will be able to see the courses on offer.
The farm is open to visitors from 1pm to 4pm.
