A FAMILY of junk food addicts have revealed how Naked Chef Jamie Oliver turned their lives around.

Since the celebrity spent a week with the Measors for his programme Jamie's School Dinners, they have ditched their old diet of high-fat fast food.

As a result, the family of 11, from Peterlee, east Durham, have lost more than four stone between them and have become fitness fans.

Mother Janice, 45, said: "Jamie was amazing. He transformed our lives. I can't thank him enough."

The star was asked to help Janice, husband Les and their nine children - Sydney, three, twins Connor and Sophie, seven, Liam, nine, Jamie, 12, Samantha, 14, Danielle, 17, Stephen, 18, and Julie, 27, as part of his Feed Me Better campaign.

He worked with the family in July, three days a week, as he filmed an episode of Jamie's School Dinners at Eden County Primary school, where Mrs Measor is a governor.

She said: "He gave the kids porridge for breakfast and cooked proper dishes, like roast chicken with vegetables, or roast pork."

Within 36 hours, Mrs Measor noticed a huge change in her children.

She said: "Getting the children to do their homework used to be so difficult but their concentration has vastly improved. They don't fight any more and they love eating healthily."
