MUSIC students gave a stirring performance as part of their community work.
More than a dozen people who attended Barnard Castle School's coffee morning on Friday and were treated to a concert.
The event, organised by teachers, was held in the music school as part of a programme of events to encourage children to play a more active role in the community.
Director of music Mark Mawhinney said: "The concerts are part of the school programme giving the students a chance to perform and the public an insight into the talent at the school."
