A WOMAN needed hospital yesterday treatment after she fell at a popular beauty spot.

The walker, in her 50s, fell and injured her ankle at Hardraw Force, near Hawes, North Yorkshire.

Paramedics were called at about 4.20pm. Firefighters carried the woman to an ambulance.

Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team was put on stand-by, but was not needed.
