A CIVIC reception was held to mark the achievements of a woman who has dedicated more than 40 years of her life to a Darlington estate.
Joyce Standing has served on committees and groups serving the people of Skerne Park.
All her work was recognised at the town hall by Darlington Mayor Stella Robson. She made a presentation to Mrs Standing as a thank-you from the town.
Mrs Standing was jointly named Darlington Citizen of the Year in 1996.
