THE annual aid appeal for Romania by the New Life Baptist Church, in Northallerton, is under way.
The collection and packing will again be based in Thornton-le-Moor, starting on September 19.
The aim is to repeat the success of last year's appeal, which saw more than 12 tonnes of food, clothes, household items and Christmas shoeboxes shipped to poverty-stricken people in Romania.
