A DARLINGTON woman is preparing for a gruelling physical challenge.
Catherine Coleman, of Turnpike Close, wants to raise at least £200 by completing a triathlon in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign for Cancer Research UK.
The 38-year-old is being sponsored by Bannatyne gym and is appealing for support.
Ms Coleman said: "I looked on the charity's website and sent off for one of its fundraising idea packs. The triathlon was mentioned and I thought it would be a real challenge."
Ms Coleman will attempt a 10km-run, 40km-cycle and a one-mile swim at the gym, in Haughton Road, on June 28.
Anyone wanting to sponsor her can make a donation at the gym, in Haughton Road.
