ONE man was taken to hospital after a farm fire near Ferryhill tonight.
Fire crews from Newton Aycliffe and Bishop Auckland were called to the farm on the Kirk Merrington to Leasingthorne Road around 8.40pm.
The fire involved an oil fired boiler in a kitchen.
The man was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
