Following the success of previous years, Ferryhill Town Council is inviting green fingered residents of Ferryhill to enter the town’s Ferryhill in Bloom Competition 2009.
The categories this year are; Front Garden, Back Garden, Back Yard and Commercial Properties. Judging is scheduled to take place in early July with winners being announced during an evening ceremony at the Manor House Hotel.
“Ferryhill Town Council would like to say a big thank you to Thinford Nurseries for once again sponsoring this event. Their contribution is much appreciated”, said a spokesperson for the council.
To take part in this years competition simply fill in a form, available from the town hall and submit it to John Rogerson. Entries must be received by no later than Monday the 22nd of June.
