A Darlington man has been arrested and charged with robbery following an incident that reportedly saw another "knocked to the floor".
The 33-year-old will appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court today (May 9) following the incident on April 25 on Stockton High Street.
A 58-year-old was injured after he was allegedly assaulted by another man at around 5.45pm and ended up on the ground. Police said he had money stolen.
An initial appeal to find a suspect described by police was released on May 4.
A Cleveland Police statement reads: "The 33-year-old, from Darlington, was arrested and following questioning he has been charged with robbery.

"He has been remanded in custody to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Friday 9 May.
"It relates to a 58-year-old man sustaining injuries following an assault on High Street in Stockton near to a bus stop at 5.45pm on Friday 25 April.
"The man is alleged to have been knocked to the floor and his money stolen."
