Pooches and their 'paw-rents' enjoyed a day out that would really get your tail wagging at Raby Castle’s Bark in the Park.
Dogs of all shapes and sizes descended on Deer Park at the County Durham castle for the event on Sunday (September 29).
Attendees enjoyed range of activities including, a dog show and agility demonstrations from ‘paw-fessional’ pups showing what man’s best friend can do.
The dog show saw winners in categories including most handsome hound, coolest pup, and waggiest tail, among others, as well as a gong for dog most like their owner.
A range of stalls lets owners spoil their pets with homemade treats, new toys and get their portraits taken.
Some dogs took on the agility course in the castle’s shadows while others took a walk around some of its 200-acres of grounds.
Pictures show dogs of all breeds at the event including a bulldog, collies and a bloodhound.
It came after last year’s Bark in the Park proved popular with owners. Raby Castle has a range of other events planned in the coming months including stargazing suppers, a Halloween trail and Christmas market.
