The voice of Ghostface has agreed to take part in a new film based in County Durham.
Roger L Jackson, who is the voice of the Scream franchise's Ghostface, has recorded the opening audio for County Durham filmmaker Dean Midas' new short, The Legend of Sayer Hicks.
This is not the first time Mr Jackson has worked with Mr Midas, having recorded the opening audio for his 2022 film, The Devil's Stone.
Mr Midas, from Willington, said: "For Roger to help us once is amazing, for it to happen again is mind-blowing.
"Roger is such a lovely man and he has asked me to send him a copy of the film, once it is released."
The new film was shot at various locations around County Durham, including The Honest Lawyer Hotel, The Witham, and High Lands Cottage.
The Legend of Sayer Hicks is set to be released on Thursday, October 10, via Dean Midas Films on YouTube.
