A popular County Durham retail park has launched a running club, with the first session beginning on Sunday.
Dalton Park Outlet, the largest shopping destination in the North East, has announced that local running group, Run Peterlee, will host a taster session on September 22.
Run Peterlee, a running group based at the Pavilion Sports Centre in Peterlee, will be hosting the 'open' club for both members and non-members at Dalton Park.
The event will start at 10am near the Dancing Betty pub, with a red gazebo marking the meeting point.
Participants will have the choice of three trails: the easy 1k Dragonfly route, the more challenging 1.5k Falcon trail, and the shorter but tougher Hare trail.
Non-members are welcome to try any or all of the routes.

After the run, participants are encouraged to enjoy a drink and catch up at the Dancing Betty pub.
Sports brand Puma is supporting the event by offering a 20 per cent discount to all participants.
Vouchers for the discount can be collected from the organiser, David Ferguson and are only redeemable on the day of the event.
Mr Ferguson, the lead coach of Run Peterlee, said: "At Run Peterlee, we pride ourselves on our family feel and welcome all abilities to the club.
"We’re excited to be sharing our love of running the parklands with others and hope to see our familiar and some new faces this Saturday.
"If you fancy giving something new a go, we’d be delighted to welcome you along for as long or shorter run as you like."
Richard Kaye, centre director at Dalton Park, added: "We’re always looking for ways we can not only offer something back to our local community but by utilising the parklands we have on-site too.
"Run Peterlee is a fantastic local group and we’re looking forward to seeing its success to help us plan future initiatives."
