Three people have been left in hospital after a crash on a County Durham road.
Two cars were involved in the incident on the A691 at Lanchester, near the junction with the A6076 to Maiden Law, at about 12.30pm on Wednesday (September 18).
Police, paramedics and fire crews were called to the scene where traffic was diverted for a short time.
Three people were taken to University Hospital North Durham, the ambulance service said. None of their injuries are thought to be serious.

A North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) spokesperson said: "We were called to a road traffic incident this afternoon on Durham Road, in Lanchester, shortly before 12:30pm.
“We dispatched three ambulance crews and a clinical team leader to the incident. Three patients were taken to the University Hospital of North Durham."
