Pooches and residents alike enjoyed a fun annual Darlington dog show this weekend - coming together to celebrate brilliant hounds with the waggiest tails and best tricks. 

The Cockerton Community and Business Group organised the Cockerton Fun Dog Show, which took place on the green on Sunday (September 1). 

Happy owners and their lovely pets braved the rain for a day of fun,with stalls and food from local businesses in the community.

Raffle prizes were provided by local businesses, K9 House Of Style, Afterglow Tanning Darlington, Alderson Butchers, Pretty Knits Wool Shop Darlington, The Edward Foundation, Cockerton Collectables, and Peter Lord Hairdressing, as well as some of residents and also the stall holders attending.
