Police have released an image of a woman they would like to speak to following allegations of a racially aggravated public order incident in a Newton Aycliffe supermarket.
Officers are investigating a reported incident at the Tesco Extra in Greenwell Road on Tuesday (August 20).
A Durham Police spokesperson said: "Do you recognise this woman?
"We’d like to speak to her in connection with a racially aggravated public order incident which happened at Tesco, in Newton Aycliffe, on Tuesday, August 20 at around 5.40pm."
Anyone who recognises her has been asked not to comment but to contact the police directly.

Information can be given to the police on 101, quoting crime reference number CRI00565031 or contact us via the force on their live chat function on the website www.durham.police.uk.
Information can also be submitted anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
