An award-winning County Durham filmmaker has teamed up with a local radio station to launch a weekly movie review show.
Midas at the Movies, launching on BBC Radio Tees on Friday, September 13, will feature the week's brand-new cinema and streaming platform releases.
Dean Midas, from Willington, will feature on the Amy Oakden breakfast show every Friday on the station.
But that's not the only good news for Mr Midas, as his hometown club, Willington AFC, has honoured him by naming one of their stands after him.
The Dean Midas Stand was unveiled on (Tuesday August, 20) by the club's vice-chairman, Karl Utley.
