Images have shown the aftermath of the extensive damage caused to a farmhouse building after a fire struck this week.
Fire crews from ten different stations across North Yorkshire descended on the two-storey farmhouse on Reeth Road in Richmond at about 10.55pm, following reports of smoke and flames coming from the property.
The house was thought to be empty at the time of the incident, and no injuries have been reported by North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
In images of the property, which is covered in scaffolding, the house can be seen missing part of its roof and walls, due to the fire damage.
Other images show fire investigation officers scaling part of the building, as they investigate the source of the fire.
At this stage, the fire service says that the investigation is in its early stages.

"No persons were in the house at the time. The property suffered extensive fire damage and there is likely to be fire service in attendance until later today (July 24). A fire investigation will commence later this morning."
