A manhunt is underway in Newcastle to find a burglar avoiding arrest.
Paul Nicholson, 30, is wanted in connection with reports of burglary and the police are appealing to the public for help.
Extensive searches to locate him have been ongoing across the region.
Nicholson has strong links to the Northumberland area, specifically Amble.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "Officers from Northumbria Police are today (Tuesday) asking for the public’s help to trace him – and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
"Members of the public are also reminded that harbouring a wanted person is an offence and those involved could face prosecution.
