A dog is at large after biting a woman in a County Durham town.
Police are searching for the dog and their owner after an incident in Peterlee, County Durham.
Durham Police has appealed to the public for help with their enquiries, as the dog and its owner remain unknown.
The woman was bitten by the dog, described as a black bull mastiff, whilst she was walking in the Scafell Close area.
A spokesperson for the force said: "If you have any CCTV of evidential value or information in relation to this, please contact Durham Constabulary on 101 quoting reference CRI00557039."
