DJ Fatboy Slim celebrated a ten-year collaboration with photographer Jessica van der Weert at a special show at an art gallery.

The show, “10 Years Photographing A Legend”, captured several images of the Praise You star over the last decade as part of his collaboration with the photographer, known for her portraits of key figures in British history and culture.

The Hove DJ, real name Norman Cook, was among those to visit Enter Gallery in Bond Street for the exhibition last week.

He said: “I have had a lot of fun interacting with Jess over the last ten years - to celebrate that publicly is a beautiful thing.

“It’s a little weird so many portraits of yourself at once, it’s like the last ten years of my life are flashing before me.”

His favourite picture from the collaboration was the original, with him in the Albion changing rooms shirtless in front of a Seagulls shirt with his name on.

Fatboy Slim said: “It was the first time I had ever taken my clothes off in front of a photographer. She just captured the essence of me but also made me look good - which is what you want in a portrait.”
