Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to after a bus passenger was allegedly punched in the face.
Durham Police said the incident happened as a Go North East number 20 bus travelled from Durham to Sunderland on September 23.
The man they would like to speak to got off the bus at West Rainton.
A Durham Police spokesperson said: "fDo you recognise this man? We know the image isn’t very good quality, but we are hoping someone may be able to help us identify him.

"We’d like to speak to him after a man was punched in the face as he rode on the number 20 bus from Durham to Sunderland on September 23.
"The suspect got off the bus at West Rainton."
