A driver has fled the scene of an incident after hitting a parked car on the high street of a North Yorkshire village.
Emergency services attended High Street in Great Broughton on Friday (September 22) evening at around 9.15pm, following reports of a car crash.
After arriving on the scene, there was only one car involved, but it had collided with a parked car on the road at the time.

Firefighters from North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene first and tried to look for the driver, before leaving the incident in the hands of North Yorkshire Police.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews from Stokesley and neighbouring brigade Coulby Newham responded to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision into a parked car.
"The driver appeared to have fled the scene after further searches. Crews made the vehicle safe and the incident was left in the hands of Police on scene."
