The North East’s biggest fireworks spectacular, Pyromusical, will mark its fifth year of shows with a celebration that will light up the night sky.

The magical, multi-sensory event, will include highlights from the last five decades of UK music with an original soundtrack including samples of tracks from musical powerhouses of today and yesteryear.

Set in a 7.5-acre stage and lighting up the night skies above Bishop Auckland, visitors can look forward to a heart-pounding performance that will illuminate the November night and create lasting memories for all who attend.

“There is no better place to be than wrapped up with a cup of mulled wine or hot chocolate, watching the fireworks dancing into the night with our electrifying soundtrack.”

Event Highlights

Synchronized Pyrotechnics and Music: Be prepared to be swept off your feet as the night sky comes alive with an intricate dance of lights, colours, and patterns, all impeccably synchronized to a masterful musical arrangement. The symphony of pyrotechnics and music will create an immersive experience like no other.

Cosy Autumnal Glow: With fire pits littered around the park and a great selection of soul-warming treats on sale, wrap up warm and share priceless moments with loved ones as the smell of mulled wine fill the air.

Family Moments: With the soundtrack covering the last 50 years, every member of the family is guaranteed to enjoy a singalong to some of their favourite tunes whilst watching a performance that lights up the faces of all in attendance.

Although there is a large capacity of 8,000, seating will be sold and allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis, so visitors are urged to buy tickets early to avoid disappointment.

The 25-minute display is produced by the pyrotechnics team renowned for their epic displays set to music at 11Arches Park, which hosts thrilling shows every Saturday throughout the summer season.

Gates open at 4.15pm for the November show, when hot dogs, popcorn, chips and hot and cold drinks will be available from the Food Court. The performance starts promptly at 7pm. Ticket prices are £12 for adults and £6 for under-18s.
