Four men were assaulted in an unprovoked attack as they ate a Greggs, with one knocked unconscious and another left with a broken jaw.
Police are looking to speak to three men who they believe could know vital information about the incident.
The group of four, one 21-year-old and three 19-year-olds were standing eating food outside a late-night Greggs when they became the targets of an unprovoked attack.

The 21-year-old was knocked unconscious, and one of the 19-year-olds left needing surgery for a broken jaw.
The other two men, both 19, sustained minor facial injuries.

It is said that they were approached by a group of men who they did not know before they were assaulted in the unprovoked attack.
The incident happened outside Greggs on Neville Street in Newcastle City Centre, which is open until 4am most nights, on Saturday January 28.

Police launched an investigation into the assault and are now appealing for help tracking down three men who they believe could be able to assist their enquiries.
All three are thought to be in their early twenties and were in the area at the time of the incident.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Anyone with information, or who knows the males is asked to contact police using the ‘Tell us Something’ page on our website quoting crime reference 011385M/23.”
