Plans could see a guest house in a County Durham town converted into seven apartments.
Old Station Guest House on Whitworth Terrace, Spennymoor, is currently being used as a bed and breakfast and has been for over 30 years.
Currently, the property has seven double bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities, a lounge, TV room, a dining area and kitchen on the ground floor.
Plans could see the property converted into apartments using the existing layout of rooms, including the existing door and window layout.

The front of the building would also remain largely unaltered with the exception of a new window to each side of the building.
At the back of the property, a small single-storey rear extension would be the only changes and both would be constructed with materials already in place at the property.
Access to the property would also remain the same with off-street parking being available for three cars.
The application has not been decided yet and can be viewed and commented on via the Durham County Council planning portal.
