A man was left with a broken jaw after being attacked by a gang of people near a County Durham McDonalds.
Detectives are appealing for information following the serious assault in Peterlee at around 11.30pm on Friday night (November 18), near Surtees Road.
It is believed the victim was waking between McDonalds car park and Asda when he was approached by a group of men and women who punched and kicked him.
He suffered a broken jaw in the assault.
Officers are now keen to the identify this group and if you have any information, CCTV or dashcam footage which may assist officers, contact DC Paul Coburn on 101 quoting incident number 544 of November 18.
