- A famous pork pie firm which employs more than 200 people in the region has collapsed into administration, it has been confirmed.
- The well-known Vale of Mowbray company, which is based at Leeming Bar near Northallerton, has appointed administrators, they have today announced.
- The company had been founded in 1795 and had gone on to build a huge reputation across the North East, country and beyond.
