Four properties in Darlington and North Yorkshire sold for over £1 million in the last 12 months according to recent research.

The research, carried out by Property Solvers, looked at Darlington and North Yorkshire postcodes between September 2021 to September 2022.

Using HM Land Registry sold house prices statistics home buying company found that the total value of these sales came to £5, 908, 000.

Compared to the same period last year (2020 to 2021), this showed a decrease of 79 per cent, down from £13.61 million.

In terms of properties sold, this puts Darlington at number 105 across England, Wales and Scotland – above Inverness and below Dundee.
