A SKIPTON woman has been fined and had six points added to her licence for failing to stop after an accident.
Danielle Dixon, 36, of Rombalds Drive, had denied charges of failing to stop, failing to report an accident and driving without due care and attention and was sent to York Magistrates' Court for trail on August 9 where she changed her pleas to guilty.
The incident occurred on August 5, 2021 in North Parade involving another vehicle when Dixon failed to stop.
For the offence she was fined £250 and was ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.
No separate penalties were given for failing to report the accident and for driving without due care and attention but her driving record was endorsed
