A hospice care charity is offering the opportunity to win £2,000 in their raffle, while supporting their vital services.

Herriot Hospice Homecare, which together with Just ‘B’ and Saint Michael’s Hospice, supports families living with terminal illness and bereavement across North Yorkshire, has recently launched the North Yorkshire Hospice Care Grand Raffle.

Entrants have the chance to win £2000, £350 or £150 and tickets cost just £1.

Herriot Hospice Homecare provides care services across Hambleton and Richmondshire, supporting people at home when they need it most.

It costs Herriot, along with its family of services, more than £7million each year to provide the charity's range of care and support.

This summer, the charity is encouraging its local community to pop into their shops, visit their website or contact their team to join in with their raffle.

Tony Collins, Herriot Hospice Homecare’s chief executive said: “We’re delighted to launch our Grand Raffle across Hambleton, Richmondshire and the Harrogate district with the exciting opportunity for supporters to win £2,000.

“Every pound really does count in powering our vital support for people living with terminal illness and bereavement.

"70 per cent of our care is funded by the generosity of our local communities and right now across North Yorkshire, more families than ever are in need of our specialist and personalised services.

“We are extremely grateful to everyone who takes part and helps us make a real difference to local people.”
