Teesside's Atom Financial is celebrating a successful first year of trading with a recruitment drive.
Owners Matt Herrell and Matthew Fannan have already secured a number of key recurring client contracts after exceeding revenue and cash targets.
Their focus for the year ahead at their Stockton offices will be to continue to grow, having recently hired Nathan Raine as Payroll and HR Services manager as they launch a new division ‘Atom People’. This will offer a wide range of bespoke HR, people management and payroll services in a single solution to businesses in the North East & Yorkshire.
Atom are working with Paul Card Recruitment to recruit a Management Accountant and will also add a finance apprentice over the summer.
Matthew Fannan said: "We knew what we wanted to achieve and the standards we wanted to set when we were launching Atom, so it is very rewarding to see everything falling into place.
"Targeted growth was one of our priorities, so we now need more staff like Nathan - young people committed to the sector who want to see the region they work in thriving."
The company's core service offerings are Finance Function as a Service (FFaaS) - a fully managed finance and accounts department provided as a service, rather than recruited. The team also offer financial consultancy services such as financial forecasting & due diligence
