A County Durham road is closed as emergency services respond to a multi-vehicle crash.
The B1280 Station Road in Wingate is likely to remain closed throughout Tuesday evening as officers respond to the incident.
Traffic is currently affected from Front Street to Newholme Estate. Traffic is coping well.
A statement from Durham police read: "We are currently dealing with a collision on Station Road in Wingate.
"The road is likely to remain closed for some time while officers work at the scene.
"We would ask that motorists avoid the area and find an alternative route.
"Thank you for your patience and understanding."
