Drivers that were travelling near the outskirts of Middlesbrough on Monday (June 27) morning may have been surprised to see a vehicle stuck on top of a roundabout after a car lost control and ended up going through the signage of the roundabout.

The incident, which took place in the early hours of this morning on Ladgate Lane, near the junction of Sandy Flatts Lane, saw a blue vehicle mount the roundabout and come to a stop.

Despite other vehicles continuing with their journey, several people were seen snapping photos of the one-car collision in Middlesbrough, which were then shared online.

It’s not clear at this time how the car came to land on the roundabout – but Cleveland Police have confirmed that they didn’t attend, due to the fact that there were no injuries.
